 I often say veterinary orthopedics found me, not the other way around. In college, I started working for a veterinary orthopedics supply company. With zero knowledge about the industry, I was immediately captivated and hungry to learn as much as I could.

As the years went by, I found myself mainly working on the logistics side of the business. Although I enjoyed this work, my true passion was in serving customers, creating relationships, and helping them order the products they needed at the best price possible.

It was this passion that drove me to start Veterinary Solutions Direct. With the help and encouragement of my friend and orthopedic surgeon, Joshua Jackson, Veterinary Solutions Direct was born. Now, almost a decade later, I'm proud of the business we have built. I get to spend every day working directly with customers, simplifying their order process, and creating lasting partnerships.

When I'm not working, I'm hanging out with my wife and 3 young children (all under the age of four). Yes, we're tired and busy. Before kids, I loved being outside. However, these days you're more likely to find me lounging at home with my family. When I do get away, I like to get in a round of golf or plan a date night with my wife.

 Jen joined the VSD team in December 2024, bringing with her over 14 years of experience as a Finance & Project Director. She has a strong track record in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and performance metrics across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, construction, and services.

She has played a key role in the identification and successful implementation of new systems, helping to streamline operations and improve financial oversight. Her experience includes managing complex, multi-million-dollar defense and commercial contracts, consistently delivering results on time and within budget.

She is dedicated to creating a well-informed and collaborative environment for both internal teams and external partners, contributing significantly to the development of an effective and transparent working ecosystem.

When off the clock, Jen is perfectly content hanging out with her fiancé and their combined crew of seven kids, ages 12 - 27.  She's also been daydreaming—since the age of 14—about a black Porsche 911 Targa with a whale-tail, and still hasn't given up on making it hers one day.

 From a young age, my love for animals sparked an interest in veterinary care. However, it wasn't until I enrolled in Veterinary Technician school that I realized my true passion: veterinary medicine. I graduated from NWCC and went on to pass the VTNE in 2020, becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician.

My work at Veterinary Solutions Direct has fulfilled a lifelong passion - helping animals live their happiest healthiest lives through the customers I serve.

In my free time, I love to relax next to a calm body of water, immersed in a good page-turner. I'm also "mom" to four pets: a German Shepherd, a Belgian Malinois, a husky, and a black cat. I'm sure you can imagine the fur balls I regularly vacuum up.
